I'm Italian and my parents have never liked brands. One of my mom's friends was very rich and often gave us her clothes which she didn't need anymore. They were by Armani, Valentino, Gucci...! My mom sat down with a pair of scissors and cut the labels whenever possible. We tried to stop her but she was determined and said that we weren't sheeps. 😅 At school my siblings and I couldn't brag like the other children but some years later I learnt that I had been lucky to learn from my parents that wearing labels is silly.

It was the same with those learning blocks we were given as a child. Sadhguru is absolutely right! If you are sensitive, then you realize how important it is to wear organic clothing. You can also feel the effect of the different colors. For example: Blue gives peace and relaxation, i can't sleep on red color because it is very activating, white is sattvic and you feel most comfortable. Black, on the other hand, absorbs negative heavy energies.

Singling out someone and commenting on their attire, ridiculing them is not right. However big we are we have no right to belittle others or their choice. It may not appeal to us but still no one has a right to publicly make fun of anyone. The same sermon could have been given in a generalised way. So I am finding this to be nothing other than true. I wondered why for so long now, every time I wear a black hoodie of mine in public, I have to wash it afterwards even if I wear it just once. I could not figure it out. Also why I feel the need to shower/bathe after going in public wearing black clothing. I was taught the opposite of this, but I'm finding that what I was taught is wrong.
