Speaking as a Latino raised in Puerto Rico, this was so beautiful to hear and see. I wish more elders had the intellect and empathy this person has.

Major respect to this man. A very good and true genuine human being. All people before planning to have children should watch this because there are plenty of people who have children as some kind of asset to fulfill something rather than allowing them to grow and flourish themselves.

Sometimes Parents need to make decisions which their child doesn't agree with but they should always include their children in decisions which affect them. Many parents think they listen to their kids when in fact what they are really doing is telling their kids what to think. They conflate respect and obedience when the two are entirely separate concepts

Mal Content agreed. I feel what you described in the beginning of your reply goes along with that 'guiding them from negative influences' bit that he said.

In western countries they let their children go to work and earn their money, makes the child independent. Even better, I feel, introduce them to success philosophy which they can understand at their pace. Most children have learned behaviour, which is what they learn looking at their parents, we cannot teach what we do not possess. Let them learn from able masters.

RESPECT THE SACRIFICES OF OUR PARENTS BUT TOXIC PARENTING IS NOT GOOD. PARENTS ALWAYS COMPLAIN THAT CHILDREN SHOULD BE AS OBEDIENT AS LORD RAMA BUT PARENTS SHOULD NOT FORGET THAT HE ALSO GOT FATHER LIKE KING DASHRATH WHO WAS NON ABUSIVE AND WHO USED TO RESPECT HIS WIVES INSTEAD OF BEATING AND ABUSING THEM AND HE WAS A GREAT HUMAN BEING TOO 🙏🙏

He is wrong. Easy for him to say what he says cuz his daughter is well behaved. Not West Indians. If you dont teach they will make your life a hell. Most people who talk abt parenting have well behaved children
@mamtasingh4723 Жыл бұрын
He is not wrong. Children become adults and those adults be the way they were treated in their childhood. If his daughter is well behaved then it must be because he was a good father, it must be because he never was toxic with his daughter. Listen, parents need to accept this.
