Possibility is not in our hands but work is. It's an English version of the Bhagvat Geeta Shloka "Karmanyevadhikarestu ma phalesu kadachana ma karmphal heturbhur matesangstwakarmani"
@anindyaranjansamaddar33595 жыл бұрын
@David G. LOL!! The shloka is in Sanskrit, it means: You have a right to “Karma” (actions) but never to any Fruits thereof. You should never be motivated by the results of your actions, nor should there be any attachment in not doing your prescribed activities.

AMAZING, only your competence can get you to where you truly obtain your success...constantly tweaking your competence...being content only when you are miserable can you think of being content...contentment is containment...life isnt about being ahead of someone else, those who seek contentment you enjoy a lesser mans misfortune, that is sickness always trying to be better than bigger than another person constantly measuring weighing miserable existence..be happy, joy misery happens within us...if you are joyful by nature you are happy the whole world is happier..

The most important thing to do in your life is to work on yourself, on your self-development and improvement. You only deire things that you can see, what is the meaning of what you want? What us the purpose of having it ?
@SrMway5 жыл бұрын
He says nothing about self development or improvement, they're all things which fall under the category of desires. He's talking about something much more beautiful like the way like a flower blossoms. It is not bothered about how it will look once it's blossomed it is carefully and slowly growing and maturing enjoying every moment of it.

Surprised by the quality of questions. Maybe it was because of the ecosystem, the students did not grasp the contents. They were trying to gather more information rather than understand the experiential aspect of life Sadhguru was talking about. He never directly speaks about the tools in such conversations which may cause the listeners to think that he is preaching philosophy. Hope the essence of his talk is not lost in the meandering conversations which Sadhguru engages in to woo the intellect.
