For people from diff countries wondering what this sound is all about, aigiri nandini depicts the power that the women hold in the form of praising the goddess durga, who saved the world by killing and drinking the blood of the evil people who used their powers for wrong deeds and who were torturing the innocent, as they had the power to multiply if their blood touches the ground. It purely shows the power, and love towards their children of the women, by praising the goddess. She is the mother Goddess and she has shared a part of her power with all her daughters, well sons too but like daughters yeah, so women just belive in yourselves!

Yea but remember there are 3 types of kathak gharanas 1) Banaras gharana (the spiritual one and the most ancient one) 2) Jaipur gharana (the warrior one where the woman is being powerful) 3)Lucknow gharana (lustful kathak created by mugal dogs to destroy India's spiritualism ) So teach 1 and 2 but not the third one 🧘‍♂️🙏

It is hard to find good teachers in the US and Canada. I went for a short time but the teacher was arrogant and expensive. She did not understand what it meant to be a teacher and just wanted money. I wish I could find one now I would start again.

Why does she smile, grin rather, so excessively? This is a series of 'power' shlokas exalting Nandini. One smile or two, even a few times, is fine. There is nothing however about Aigiri Nandini for a wide grin to be one's default expression. A very good dancer otherwise, her performance marred by her semi- continuous Bollywood- style teeth- show.
