The Whitehall event was not a march nor a protest. It was a gathering to celebrate Engjand and St George and had a great party atmosphere. The police presence was completely over the top. The average age of the patriots there was 50-55 and there were many women. Quite what riot the police were expecting is beyond me!There was no trouble apart from a 30 second scuffle when, before the event had even started and for some unknown reason, the police tried to block the pavement along which a group of 20-30 peaceful people were walking and 2 mounted police pushed them against a wall. Totally uncalled for. But the police got the 30 second footage that they wanted so that we could all be labelled far right trouble makers across the main stream media

I watched Paul Thorpe and Mayhar Tousi's livestreams from that day. Not only was there a complete absence of disorder, but the number of peaceful attendees outweighed those involved in the so-called "clashes" by a significant margin. I was in the Scouts and have very happy memories celebrating St George's Day with St George's Day parade where all the troops in the area came together in celebration. Very impressive it was too. It made you feel proud and patriotic which, in an impressionable youngster, is very healthy as it guides you to be a good citizen of our (then) wonderful country. The confrontation was orchestrated by the police for the optics and the subsequent biased reporting to support Sunak's claim we have two problems; the Islamists and the 'far right'. Sunak says this for a sense of balance rather than address the real problem which is from the Islamists. The man's a cop out. Tommy Robinson could add to this discussion with his specialist knowledge and vast experience so why won't you interview him?

I remember a businessman telling me, (here & I imagine other Western countries) are really run by big business. Big business is banks, hence "cashless" they're pushing for, as well as multiculturalism because it brings in cheap labour and people to buy products, more houses to build and sell, and that's the driver. The shareholders are always after more, so the workers are so squeezed & powerless, it becomes too expensive to have a family so in the West the rate of having children has diminished & the Govt and businesses don't care, as they simply bring in more workers and money from overseas. People in NZ are leaving for Australia for a better life, and the Government tells us it's fine as more are coming into the country. People can't chat to colleagues as they chat amongst themselves in their own language and it doesn't matter, those in power continue to rein in more power, & divert attention to how bad things are overseas, or cigarettes, or some other diversions. It's not going to change because there's no one to vote in most Western countries anymore.. it's not about the people, it's about their own power. Otherwise they'd be investing in the younger generations, & looking to support the family unit instead of working everyone dry and expecting women to leave their children w strangers in institutions at ages so young, they've not even had time to become an individual personality with freedom & play or have a childhood. Everyone is expected to work long hours. And I think it's why our Western countries are loosing each year, the freedoms & great lifestyles as well as community that was built over time. And they built for the next generation.. not just until the council ticked it's boxes. In NZ we are very multicultural and haven't even integrated w Maori's after all these years, and having tried on both sides. People who say we are lie, most groups hang outside work and even at work with their own, the cultures are too different and clashes and claims are never ending, it's even worse now than it used to be. Hungary is right, he's not against other people or cultures, as he says visit, but keep them there. Humans indigenous peoples are like native animals, us females for all history of each race brought the variety of races we have today. We didn't go through that for the idealists to breed each other into sparrows only. Multiculturalism is really full of tension & frustration and people are frightened to speak out. We have to be brave and do something like Hungary and speak out and start looking after one another, because our Western Governments don't care about us, we're nothing to them but tax slaves. Otherwise they wouldn't be happily replacing us.

My house at my school (1969-1974) was called St George. As a reward for winning house points, I was given the St George house badge which was quite beautiful, with the St George flag and a red rose. I've still got it.

We had a St. George's Day party every year in the 1970s, with a roast beef dinner, silly party games and finishing up with our own English National Anthem and toast to St George (my mum wrote the words and I put it to music). Good times!

Why is the mayor allowed to be the commissioner of police as he is a muslim? and seems to bring in his religions agenda into the interpreting of law, and enforcing the law, but not upholding it impartially. It would be more just to have a person who is not biased in any way.

Sadly, the vast majority of the London mayoral electorate vote along "cultural" lines, rather than upon day to issues, such as the buses and trains running on time (if they are running at all, that is). Consequently, there is no candidate on earth who could unseat Khan or, if he were not a candidate, any other politician of a similar stripe.
