This video is a tour of a finished #barndominium home built by Texas Best Construction.
The home is located in Sadler, Texas and has a monitor style roof. It has black and white exterior with black trim details and black windows. The total square footage is a little under 1500.

Prices start at 45,000 just for the basic shell and can go up to 250,00 to 300,000 depending on windows, floor lay out, 2 story etc…

This one really suits me!! I love the clean look of the white and black. That fireplace is awesome! From the master suite through the bathroom, closet, laundry, mud room then HOT TUB? It’s a dream! Beautifully customized! A little fru-fru in some places ie crystal knobs, but beautiful home. Those fans in the bedrooms are awesome.

This home is beautiful! We should be starting our forever home this fall. We have the floor plans drawn out and it is similar to this. I like the size, but we still have kids living at home, so probably will need larger. Ours is drawn out for 2400 sq ft. I have always loved the monitor style. It looks to me like the owners knew exactly what they wanted/needed and proceeded to get it. Good for you! People need to take their own lifestyle into consideration when building a home. May you always enjoy living in your home!

This one is my absolute favorite. So elegant and still have a country touch. I love the pulls as well as the door knobs that are glass and crystal look.. I would take one exactly like that with a lock hidden gun cabinet close to the front door. Maybe hidden in the wall of the master suite. I adore the master closet again and a safe in the wall somewhere. Excellently Crafted....👋👋👋

Wow, finally found the design I love. Only a few things I'd prefer different. Switch the stove where the sink is. The entry floor maybe a tile with more grey. More doors to be pocket style. Outside a sauna instead of a hottube. Minor. Love Love Love

not sure if you do this, but I did not see on the intro, there should be at least 2 inches of spray foam under the concrete. This will dramaticly increase the efficency of your home. I did this on my new how and man does it make a difference. The concrete does not feel as cold to the touch and helps keep mositure down as well. Just an idea, I do love the look of this house too. Good job.

Wow, great job, both construction and interior design. I like the owners touches, very well done all around! The designer in me noticed the close clearance of the refrigerator -maybe it was the camera angle. The sparkling tile flooring and light brick was surprise and I love it. A+

Awesome build except for the large island in the kitchen that was too large to allow more than one person enter exit kitchen or open the huge refrigerator doors. I noticed you didn’t stand in front of the refrigerator and open doors to showcase like you did the huge range. The layout and all the white with black fixture/accents details brightness with the big windows and lights is fantastic.

It's the perfect size for me with a few personal changes. My OCD would insist on the two sides being even, so the guest bedroom, bath and porch will be larger. This would allow a bigger closet and bigger bathroom. If you only have one guest room, it should probably be large enough for two beds or at the very least, a trundle bed. I would never put a barn door on a bathroom. Bad idea. I would prefer a nice warm wood floor instead of that cold feeling tile. To slippery. There's also no dining area. Where do you eat? Entertain at the island bar?

They never disclose the actual cost (I think it’s about maintaining peoples privacy), but there is a video that explains the estimated costs. A lot depends on the finishes you choose. Like that front door, depending on the ironwork you pick it can be anywhere from $1500 - $$10,000. The black windows are an upgrade, the quartz counters instead of granite, the glass tile too. I understand your curiosity, I have it too. I hope you don’t feel I’m being disrespectful, just trying to help you work out the costs, as best you can. Good luck!

Sorry we can’t answer that. It would be the same result as expected I’d imagine with conventional homes. These structures are not meant to withstand tornadoes that’s not a realistic goal that can be achieved in a standard price range.

First off, I love 80% of this build. It's beautiful look. Not exactly my choice of color, but I certainly appreciate it. The master closet is stunning. I love the laundry. I love the layout. I do have a couple concerns. The guest room & bath look VERY cramped. I certainly hope there is a privacy screen for the fireplace in the master. I'm not sure if a see through pantry is the best idea(if it's going to well organized, then it'll be fine). I did notice some quality concerns with some outlets not being flush and exterior trim looking unfinished(I certainly think they'll get remedied prior to being completely finished). But my #1 concern is that God awful refrigerator placement! I LOVE the island, but getting to the fridge is going to be extremely tough, and I'm not sure how they even got it into that space to begin with. I know it's a smaller build, and concessions need to be made, but that looks like a glaring trouble spot..sorry to sound overly critical, but I do really like the overall look of the build though!

We appreciate your opinion, however... 1) the guest room and bath are not cramped, in our opinion, especially if your guest is only staying short term. 2) when it's just a couple living there, you don't really need to worry about a privacy screen for the fireplace, but one can always be bought. 3) the refrigerator is just fine to get to, it's not as confined as one might think, and sometimes these videos don't show that necessarily. Be sure to keep in mind the view of a video, it may not necessarily portray correct dimensions.
