I haven't cried tears of sadness is years. No matter how down I feel or how sad I get, some how the tears never seem to fall. No one in my life is going through something similar so I have no-one to truly relate to. My life is nothing but confusion, and my soul simply longs for a steadfast foundation. My journey to find who God truly is seems to have no end, and I don't know if I'll find him in time. I thought that the grind would help me, but no matter how hard I work I feel as though I am doing something pointless. If I cant figure out if God is the Christian God or the Islamic God then how do I know if what I'm doing is right. It's almost been a year since my journey has started and this year has been a struggle. I've questioned if the people I surrounded myself with are truly the ones I should hang out with. I keep making the same mistake and I hate my self for it and I'm certain that God isn't happy with it either. I have repented too many times to count and each time I feel like a hopeless dog wandering in a circle waiting for an end. How am I supposed to seek forgiveness from God of which I don't even know who he is. What if I died right now, would I make it to paradise? I truly want to scream with so much power that my lungs burst and my jaw gets too tired to open any longer, but I can't. My facial expression rarely shows what I'm feeling. That blank stare which I wear isn't truly how I feel. The only thing I can do is keep walking down the hall, hoping to find some guidance. I apologize for taking your time, but I just needed to say this somewhere. I won't tell anyone in my life because I know they wont understand, and I don't need sympathy. I need empathy from someone who actually feels how I feel. My only deep desire in life is to rest assured that I found God. that's all I want. I can be poor. I can be injured. I can suffer. I don't expect anyone to read this far or read this at all, but if you have, thank you.
