Hi I like the review its very helpful. I wasnt able to find it online or in the manual. Whats the maximum quantity that you can customize it to with the memo option? In general what is the maximum amount of coffee I can brew for example with the lungo option? Does it have a 2x option to brew twice as much? Thank you

Purchased one of these from SCG to replace my dead Intuita, and so far it's a fantastic upgrade. I just wish it had a window on the water tank so that I'd know when I need to fill it. I had a problem with the Intuita only triggering the "add water" warning after it was too low to complete a long shot. Ruined a lot of cups of coffee before I got into the habit of checking it manually every time I turned the machine on. One question: the machine came with a test strip to test my water hardness so that I could set the machine appropriately. When I used the strip, none of the squares on the strip changed color. Is that normal? I tested with filtered water (which is all I put in my machine anyway), could that have thrown the test off?

Great question! Your water is probably just outside the range on the strip. Just set your machine for the lowest setting.

Hi Gail - I am regretting getting this machine over Breville Barista Express because of just how poor frothing is with both the cappuccinatore and panarello. :( i saw a video of you frothing milk on the breville and you managed to get good microfoam, all i get is soap bubbles with this saeco. not sure if spending extra $ was worth it.... *sad*
