S Mushtaq said that the reason for Ajmal chucking action was his age(36 at that time) and the long spells he had to bowl for Pakistan which ended up distorting his muscles in his shoulder. ICC, influenced by England Cricket Board, banned him because he was THAT good, and they didn’t want Pakistan taking all the glory. It seems like world-dominating Pakistani bowlers are always targeted by ICC, usually influenced by England Cricket Board or Indian Cricket Board.
