So, the question I have is: Do we really want wild animals to be unafraid of humans? Other humans can do a lot of harm to them. Just a thought. Would appreciate your thoughts.

In this area (private game reserves) nobody wants to harm them. Human and wildlife share the same space peacefully. Leopards live around the lodges too. All crew and guests are aware of that and no one gets too close and no animals feel trapped, so there are no conflicts. The real troublemakers are monkeys and hyenas.
