Do you think this method could work for newbies in pump foiling and replace the dock running start in learning process?

No, beach start is the most difficult start. Better start to foil behind a boat and afterwards change to dock start with an options to run.

@@WingFoilGuy Beachstart still remains quite a difficult start for pump foiling. Having some experience with a foil and beginning with Dockstart is still the easiest way. BUT with this method I do think the learning process will be a lot easier. I have implemented this method on myself learning very quickly how to Beachstart on my weak stance (goofy for me). If you have no dock but a nice sand beach, it may work 😉

Leaning to pumpfoil takes a ton of energy as it is. The difference between each attempt beach starting and dock starting is probably a factor of 3x more energy for the beach start. This means you will tire out much faster and only get 10-20 attempts in a session vs. the 40-60 attempts you'll get off a dock. If you don't have a good dock it's probably worth investing in a decent ladder setup.
