The Sin City influence on the aesthetics is pretty obvious. It very much looks like Frank Miller could have directed it. Based on another Frank Miller helmed effort, 300, I suspect that if Aisha kicked you in the chest while yelling "This is Sparta!" you might thank her. :) I was glad to see that the line distribution was more balanced, but honestly I didn't have huge problems with it previously as the producers aren't consciously trying to short members. They are just trying to produce the most commercially successful song they can. It was really unfair that people were hating on Mia so much as it wasn't like she was handing out envelopes full of cash to get more lines. Sihyeon has certainly grown a lot since Produce 48 where one of the dance mentors was trying so hard to get her to strut with attitude when she was performing rumor. The same is true of Yiren. I don't know if you saw it, but IZ*One's Yena, who is their labelmate at Yuehua sent a snack truck to Everglow's showcase. I don't know if this is a SOTY as there is still a lot of the year left and there have been a lot of strong entries this year and more to come over the next three months. Still it is a strong contender for the list. I hope they manage to pick up a show win finally with this.

its nice to see a reaction from someone that follows Everglow and also knows references haha. yes very sin city!! I forget how young some kpop fans are (my friends and I got into kpop in our late 20s / early 30s T__T) the MV actually reminded me also of little mix -DNA...which also heavily riffed Sin City. Its basically Little mix DNA with a proper kpop budget . I wish i went into this blind, I couldn't help but watch the teaser. The 80s synth in the teaser blew my brains! I wonder what it would've been like if i hadn't watched the teaser!

This song was so interesting and different from anything they've ever done! Can't say that it's my favorite title track, but it sure was an interesting experience. This is Sihyeon's era I don't care what anyone else says!

I couldn’t have been the only one who thought the video gave them kind of 2NE1 and SNSD vibes, right? And the song I would compare to, if I had to, Pporappippam by Sunmi or more recent Apink songs, it’s like a summer song, but not a bubblegum one, a darker toned one. I definitely love it though.

I loved this comeback so much! I feel like this type of 80s synth wave genre suits them so well. I got the Sin City vibes as well, I think it was intentional. Also, my bias is also Aisha but holy shit Sihyeon has just turned into my bias wrecker hahaha she shines throughout all of this song. I'm also soooo glad Onda got so many lines! she's also kinda there as a bias wrecker for me

the ep is SO good, and there's a performance for one of the bsides too !! and now that you said it, the sound really does remind me of inception by ateez !!!
