They don't all sing the entire song, they each have their own verses, but they do all record for the chorus and ad libs. The producers mix and create the harmonies using all of their voices, or at least some in one chorus and then others in the next chorus. It's something characteristic not only of EXO, but in general, that's how harmonies are created you either stack your own voice multiple times (solo artists) or stack different voices singing different keys, hence the word harmony. It's a little bit harder when it's different people because they each have their own type of voice, and tone, and you need to make sure even if you're recording same or different notes it must sound cohesive, which makes this even more impressive tbh. I love watching the SM groups in their Recording Uncuts because you get a tiny window into how the songs are developed. (It is of course edited down to show just bits because many of them will be in the recording booth for an hour sometimes) EXO just knock these out of the park and they are such professionals who get down to business and get multiple amazing takes. In choruses it is almost never just one voice that is chosen, although one might be leading and more to the front of the audio. Especially in SM groups, the choruses are deeply "stacked" meaning layers of voices (high, mid and low or in unison,) are all put together and the group usually all sings that like a choir. You saw a lot of them singing high and low on the same lines; those will all be layered together. It gives the power and depth that the choruses have because even if they are singing the same note, they all have different voices their tones complement one another. (This group singing part of why NCT 127 got the nickname "Nation's Male Choir" after their Killing Voice performance. They have a lot of unison/group choruses) There will also be pairs or a few people on some lines harmonising with each other to give richness and depth. If you go back and watch a live performance of Cream Soda now you'll be able to pick out some of the layers if you listen carefully. It's never just one person singing after another like a sequence of solos. And they will have sections laid out for them in the song before they go in the booth.
