Onew was one of only 2 people who have ever been cast personally by Lee SooMan (the founder of SM), and he was chosen for his outstanding vocal ability at only 16 years old. Onew rolling down the stairs during their "Like A Fire" performance at their SHINee World Concert III (SWC3) in Seoul, is just something he did to be funny. I know he pretended to fall on purpose this time to be cute and funny, but in reality Onew is known for being clumsy and for tripping and falling down a lot, so he was just playing up his clumsy nature. :D Also if you know Onew, you know that one of his go to comedic moves is to roll on the floor, either log rolls or somersaults, etc. -- similar to what he does in their "Dream Girl" MV. LOL As the guide points out, Onew is actually known for sometimes being uncoordinated and accident prone -- fans refer to his clumsiness as "Onew condition." There really isn't much duality when it comes to Onew, what you see on stage is pretty much what you get off stage. He lives his life just being himself and not caring a whole lot about keeping up any type of celebrity image. That is why he was voted the best leader. That award was voted for by other Idols and people within the Kpop and entertainment industry, not fans, so it's a very meaningful award. He is so well loved because he is that relatable guy that everyone wants to be friends with and he makes everyone he meets fall in love with him, just by being himself. Its that calm stoic personality that is the backbone of everything that makes SHINee who they are. I don't think the other members, or even Shawols, would have been able to make it though everything we have been through in the past few years if it wasn't for his strength and constant unwavering support. He is the one that makes it feel like everything will be OK no matter what is happening, we just have to take our cue from him.

I love this man with all of my heart. My first bias in SHINee was Taemin but Onew snatched my heart real quick. He is so so nice and soft and he is so handsome. His voice is so good

i love his personality so much! it's gentle, unobtrusive, soft and deep. then he's also clumsy, weirdly hilarious in a calm way. anyway, it would be awesome if you could do an album listen for voice, actually. it's a great album. onew literally released it 5 days before enlistment and had zero promotion but still did very well. recently, SM opened two pre orders for it because of demand and the second pre order sold out within 30 mins.

I had no idea he was in it before i watched it 😂 bad shawol. but yes he's so sweet and really a fantastic introduction to all the members. honestly, i would do all the guides first and THEN solo stuff/variety activities etc just so you can get a basis for who everyone is without being pressured to look anywhere else. dont burn out, you kno? the content is for us i guess but i'd rather you get a genuine experience of shinee too

I just love Onew. Considering SHINee members personality and he is able to lead them well, he does a really good job. And his Onew sangtae moments are so funny. Yes every member has solo stuff. For me I'd probably like to see the individual guides first then the solo stuff. But as long as it's SHINee, anyhow you would want to approach it is fine by me.😊 Btw it's Jonghyun's bday today. Not sure if u are up to reacting to any o his solo stuff like his guide or compilation of his funny moments.😊
