Ohhhh the misconception about BTOB, indeed their vocal line is strong and they’re known for their ballads. But BTOB IS EXTREMELY VERSATILE and their vocal line can very well be rappers and the rappers have amazing vocals too. BTOB also composes and writes their own songs and all members have gone solo and have their own charm as soloists. I’m incredibly happy to see you going on a BTOB journey, they’re WILDDDDDDD!! Truly a group full of comedians and crackheads. Honestly, I don’t know how their managers/staff do it everyday LOL! These guys are just RANDOM and all over the place..it’s hilarious and I’m sure they laugh all of the time cuz of BTOB. But sometimes even as a Melody (BTOB fandom) you’re just like WHERE DO THESE BOYS COME FROM?! how do they come up with these random ass weirdo ideas, jokes, and or activities. I just can’t.. 😂

Oh boy, you're getting into BTOB and that's gonna be a ride hahaha... They're basically the craziest, goofiest group out there, but they have amazing vocals - and they're known for their vocal-focused music/ballads, so that's probably why you didn't expect a lot of rap? I don't know, I just have a feeling that they developed into more vocally focused group as time went by... but yeah, they're crazy and awesome and I think you'll have a lot of fun! Also - if you didn't know (although I doubt it) they're CLC's, Pentagon's and (G)I-DLE's older brother group.

BTOB really begins to shine once Cube allowed them more creative control and the members got to write and produce their songs. Then they really got to showcase all of their talents. I love them as a group as they really fit well together (which why everyone is super upset about the Ilhoon announcement). This group is insanely fun to watch. I'd recommend watching them on Weekly Idol 261 & 262. They appear along with Got7, Twice and Girlfriend...and they really just cause everyone to lose it with laughter. They are not normal but it's so enjoyable to watch.

I think you thought that there wouldn't have been so much rap because BtoB are maybe most known for they're ballads and their vocal line (which is incredible) but in reality the rap line is strong too and even in the ballads there's still some soft rap. So BTOB, my ult boy group :) Members: Seo Eunkwang 11.22.1990, Lee Minhyuk/Huta 11.29.1990 (Huta is his underground rap name from predebut and the name he released his solo album in 2019 under), Lee Changsub 2.26.1991, Lim Hyunsik 3.7.1992, Peniel 3.10.1993 (Korean-American), Jung Ilhoon 10.4.1994 (withdrew from group on 12.31.2020 due to being investigated for marijuana use - we will not discuss this as I am still very upset at the blatant crucifixion from Knetz and netizens when it hasn’t been proven), and Yook Sungjae 5.2.1995. All the members have solo albums (except Peniel, he has 4 solo singles and a mixtape on SoundCloud). Minhyuk, Hyunsik, Peniel, & Ilhoon are credited on more than half of their discography as lyricists and/or composer-producers. The first video you watched (Insane) was their debut song. The second was their first comeback title track after debut. Beep Beep was their fourth ep title track, although they had a single release (2nd confession) after their 2nd ep and before their 3rd ep was released.
