A wonderful, spiritual and artistic place...I remember the clarity of the mountain air. Interestingly, we see the "Davidka" (Litle David) Memorial..the little homemade weapon that won the day and allowed Tsfat to remain Israeli ...although during The Independance Day war when 6 Arab nations invaded the infant State, this was not a certainty. And to complete the tour we visit a Military Cemetary and realize that Freedom is often paid for with the lives of others. Seems a fitting closure.

Fantastic. it was one of the best, because I recognized a lot of places. among them the cannon Davidka who saved the batle of Northen Galilée, and the fantastic view. and later on the same street Bagdad Cafe there I had a group of teacher from Sweden with me and we dine opposite the Cafe on the others side of the street wtih the wonderful view over a lot of mountain. The small streets and houses was so nice I long to come again with a group to let others experiencethe atmosphere Of Safed. Much thanks yet again.

I have a question....there is a back dirt road up north that follows the Jordan down to the sea.... it’s rugged and I never see anyone on it. You can look down the steep banks along the beautiful river...you see cattle now and again. Love that road. Do you know what I’m referring to?
