Are you able to use the dual ride carrier with other strollers? With or without the wheels on? Like the Mockingbird with an attachment? Also how heavy if the dual ride without the wheels just the car seat?

There are no adapters for this seat. It works on the Evenflo Shyft stroller with the wheels removed. It possibly works with strollers that have universal adapters like Mountain Buggy Nano. It's 11 pounds w/o the wheels.

If you cannot use the base, it's easier to leave the wheels behind as well. It's much easier to install baseless without the wheels.

The white footer in the bottom of the base you need to detach something to be able to move it to another level ? I’m not able to move mine at all for it to be at the blue line level

Did you try to press the button and recline it before installing the base? If not, you have to change the recline before installing the base. If you already did that, then you need to contact Evenflo if it is not working at all.

When seat is in the car, what position should the handle be in? Straight up or all the way back?

If you are in the US, any locked position is fine.

My car seat seems to have a hard time detaching from the wheelbase when it is attached to the base. Im not sure if it’s something Im doing wrong? I can hear it click like it’s detaching and it’s able to move around but it won’t fully detach from the base.

We installed this using the lower anchors. The level line bubble on the base is in the blue zone, but when we attach the carrier the blue level line on side of the carrier isn’t level. Is that normal when using the base or should we try again?

Nope. The only way the wheels can be taken off is by leaving the wheels in the base. There is no way to leave the wheels anywhere other than attached to the base or attached to the car seat.

Can I see this installed in a smaller car? And have the passenger seat adjusted for a human to actually sit in the seat lol I’ve heard it’s a bit bulky I would hate for it not to fit safely with someone in the front seat.

Hi - just installed my Evenflo Dual Ride car seat. The base is very secure (moves less than an inch). However, I'm noticing that when the car seat is empty, the seat itself is quite wobby/rattly/noisy when driving. Is this normal?

Question! Someone told me that there needs to be a certain amount a space between the car seat when it’s installed and the back of the passenger seat. At least a 1.5inch gap between the car seat and the back of the front seat. Is this true? My husband will be installing this seat this week! Thank you!

For Evenflo's infant seats, this is true if you are installing the car seat behind a vehicle seat. If you are installing it in the middle seat, the gap is not required. The harness webbing is 1.5" wide on the seat, so you can measure that with your fingers and then check if you have the proper gap.

Just do a baseless installation in the other vehicle. The wheels can stay attached to the infant seat, but you have to move 2 of them to do a baseless installation. The manual describes how to do it

The crash test results are not released by manufacturers. Anything else you find would be done by 3rd parties who may not test the seats the same way the manufacturers do.

Some versions do. The gold version on Evenflo's website comes with both of those. Without the wheels attached, it's around 11#.

No, you will need a stroller once this seat is outgrown. But at that point, the baby will be old enough to use a cheap umbrella stroller if preferred.

A little bit, yes. The DualRide requires that you move the front wheels to a different configuration before installation, so it takes a few seconds longer.

It's the same for all car seats, including this one. A safe sleep space is a flat surface. Keep time in the car seat to a minimum

It's the Doona that has the handle with an anti-rebound position. The DualRide has an anti-rebound bar built into the base.

It's not possible. The wheels can only come off into the base and cannot be removed from it unless they are attached to the infant seat. They cannot be a completely separate piece.

There aren't currently any green guard certified fabric options for this seat. Just like any infant seat, you can temporarily lay it on the ground facing whichever direction you wish.

When it's in the base, squeeze the upper release handle that's on the back of the infant seat. This will give you just the carrier and leave the wheels in the base
