Safer Screaming (Yell/False cords)

False cords play major role in extreme vocals. They should be the proper source of distortion you hear in screaming vocals, not the vocal cords. So we need to know how to disengage the vocal cords and save them from being hurt. This might be tricky, as false cords and vocal cords are "internally" pretty similar - so we need to find a way to isolate each one and train the muscles until it becomes our muscle memory. Here's my thoughts on making screaming overall safer and easier to unlock.

I was used for years to doing fry screams but it was too tense so I'm trying to relearn everything but with falsecords and your channel is super helpful!

Incredible explanation. I thought I know how to do false-fold distortion, lol, but seems like I use cartilage, gonna try your way as mine hurts. Btw, where are you from, your accent is so Russian :) Although, I think passing too much air through vocal cords dries them a lot, so fry screams should be safer.
