Hi Jan, always very much nice information!! But I'm still with doubt regarding proof of funds for family reunification. I'll apply for blue card and my wife for long term residence permit. Since I have an aployment contract with enough salary to support her, does she still need to provide proof of funds (with bank statement and credit card) or my employment contract is enough as proof of finance?

Hey, thank you for your comment! If your wife applies for a residence permit and not for a visa, your employment contract will be enough. You will just need to provide one extra original for her application + write a statement saying she will be able to use your salary.

@@benevidesnetto9211 Yes, we have a template if you need. But remember that that about your salary only applies if your family members apply for a residence permit (which is only possible in some cases), not if they apply for visas.

Hello Jan, I would like to ask,for spousal unification, does the proof of accommodation of the Husband suffice for the spouse who is joining him in czech. Is it enough for the spouse(applicant)to submit it when applying even though her name is not in it proof of accommodation agreement but there is legal document of marriage to the husband.

Hey! It should be fine in theory but I would for sure not rely on that. Either add the spouse to the lease or simoly get the proof of accommodation sugned by the landlords :)

One last thing, If the Husband added a document from the landlord to the proof of accommodation to show the accommodation is suitable for living and it was accepted by the MOI, should the spouse also add this or the accommodation contract alone should be enough.

@@akinakinyemi5564 If you mean showing extract from the Land Register showing who is the owner and that the flat is really a flat, then it is not needed, that is publically accessible. If there is something else you need to add to the proof, I would use the same docs for all applicants.
