Smaller than any I have used. Makes it much easier to carry around. Hate the size of most. I really hate the ones that trip all the time. Never know if there is a problem with the unit or the appliance. Plugging the tool or appliance into another gfci and it never trips. Don't know if it is overly sensitive or faulty. I tend to lend those out.

I suggest to have a gf i tester to make sure that it’s working properly, external tripper is better than internal one

Hi, nice video, quick question though, can this be plug into an ungrounded wall outlet?

According to Eaton, manufacturer of electrical components and gear, you can. However, there is a ground prong so you would have to modify it. Having ground fault protection is different than having a ground. A ground fault is when current finds a way to go to ground in a manner other than the designated route. That includes going through a person. The GFCI senses the "wrong route" in milliseconds and trips the circuit to shut off power before harm occurs. Even so, having a properly grounded circuit is highly preferable, but in a pinch for an older setting without ground, the device would still provide ground fault protection. I hope that helps! best, DFJ

How would that work for an above ground pool filter?
