At Green Cargo, safety is is our absolute priority. Our most important safety goal is to ensure that all of our employees get home without any injuries from the workplace.
Our safety initiatives are about risk reduction. Every day, we work to raise awareness of existing risks, to strengthen barriers and ensure that accidents and near misses are properly investigated, and to prevent recurrences, and we conduct continuous and systematic improvement work throughout the company.
One of our greatest risks is level crossings where our vehicles and employees cross paths with road vehicles, such as trucks and even pedestrians. At Green cargo, it is extremely important that we and you - our customers and suppliers - jointly ensure that we strengthen the existing barriers and minimize the risks at level crossings.
We work continuously to strengthen our safety culture through, for example, process verifications. We provide a present leadership and ensure that unsafe conditions and near misses are reported, and we ensure that safety is always in focus.
Good safety work lays the foundation for a safe working environment, for delivering good quality and lowering costs, and it also reduces any adverse environmental impact.
