Hi Mazzy. Don’t worry it’s perfectly normal to feel guilty when someone pushes you in a wheelchair. I’ve been using one for a couple of years now and I still feel bad for my husband. I’ve got an electric wheelchair now, which helps, but is better for really flat surfaces. Mobility scooters (travel type) would be best for you and has been a game changer for me. I would definitely recommend. In fact in some places you can hire them for the day x

I don’t know if this would be any good for you, but there is, I think it’s called, an umbrella wheelchair, it is very light and folds like the umbrella pushchairs used to fold, it’s easy to push

Hope you feel better soon Mazzy. Nice little town, reminds me of a place called Bruton close to me, a town by name but a village sort of feel. Unusual to find that tomb in a storage cupboard area, presumably they remodelled it at some point and it was more prominent than it is now, interesting to see, thanks. I must admit I don't get on with the sound so well in the new set up, its ok but sounds somehow more distant, not quite as clear as before!

My husband is on crutches all the time after cancer treatment but also has a wheelchair which he uses. It is hard work pushing but I much prefer to have him with me than go on my own. Some of the kerbs etc are shocking though. You can get trolleys in supermarkets that clip onto the wheelchair which are a real help.

When I was a teenager my mum had foot surgery and was in a wheelchair. We were at Disneyland in LA. We had come out at the top of a hill. Stopped to look at the map. Can you see where this is going? Long story short. My brother cought the chair just before it went into the lake. Sadly, mum kept going! Gravity. Who knew? Mum lived to be in her late 80's. Last 15 years of her life she was in a wheelchair. Never let my brother push her. Last part of her life she had dementia. It was only her short term memory that was affected. It was a blessing that. Pops had brain cancer. They both knew me. It was the only way I was able to pull off what I did. I made sure that they never knew they were in Hospice. They were together. I made sure they were not in ANY pain. Mum never knew Pops passed. I lied and said she missed him. 2 weeks after Pops, mum passed. I spent the last month of their lives getting them to tell the nurses family adventures and funny stories. One was mum's swim in Disneyland lake. I will save mum knocking Pop out cold with a frozen guinea hen for another time. Stay safe.

I didn't notice any problem with the wind screen or the mic sounded good to me. Mazzie I bet if you get rubber shoes it would help. On other videos I can hear your shoes hitting the ground that travel up to your hip and back. I wish you would try some softer heal shoes. Thanks

my wife was in a wheelchair for 18 month following a crash,it was a real eye opener simple things like shopping narrow aiisles shelves out of reach going round a clothes shop you take it for granted you can see over the racks at other racks but those in the wheelchair there at head height struggles to get through doors shes back on her feet now but it was a real eyeopener

Hi Dan, enjoyed the video, beautiful place. Understand your concern over the wind noise, but it was extremely windy yesterday, it wasn't enough to distract from the tour. You might think about getting a polarising filter for the go pro to help with stray sunlight. Still a Brill video👍

Hello Dan and Mazzy, just a quick comment on the video and sound, its like you said the picture quality is good, just the sound with the wind noise. Once out of the wind, the sound wasn't too bad. Mazzy, I hope you find the brakes on the wheelchair as I can just imagine in the next vlog Dan leaving you to look at something across the road and we will see you whizzing off in the back ground with the wind.

So Dan’s fitted you with castors to help you get around. Don’t forget those brakes, you could trundle off on your own if you don’t put the brakes on. If you do trundle off keep the camera rolling? I had to be pushed along in a wheelchair once when I had a knee replaced, now I’m 6 foot 3 inches, and at the time I weighed 19 stone, I think the nurse that was pushing me was the shortest tiniest one in the hospital. And the wheelchair had a half flat tyre one side, I felt awful with this tiny woman pushing me along. So I know how you feel Mazzy, I can see by your face you hate it, I hated it as well and I was only getting pushed to the door to go home. Butif it gives your leg a chance to rest and heal, stick with it, I’m sure Dan will manage. When my old mum was in a wheelchair for a while, if I took her out in the winter I put a blanket in the chair for her to sit on, then another one over her legs. She said sitting on a blanket made a lot of difference and kept her warm. Just an idea! Take care.

You think that's bad there was a so called one bed flat going to auction for 50k but it looks like the size of a tiny bed room all you can get in there is a cabin the microwave is under the bed shower and toilet are at the bottom of the bed tiny kitchen Mazzy if you can get to a doctors see if you can get Algesal cream you rub it in painful joints it's really good cream
