I have a saturn ruled north node, I come from a military family, I experienced death early in life and have continued to experience the death of friends and loved ones a lot throughout my life, everything in my career paths have been grating and a pain, I learned that I can't work for other people so I remain self employed and lacking in support in things like Time Off, sick leave and insurance. I have learned to not be emotional, not trust people and to be detatched in general because I understand that I will not get my needs met. I am more practicle than I can describe but I have no regrets about spending my young adult years "having a good time" because most of my adult life have been stressful and depressing, I have always been a tomboy, people constantly try to control me and find out that it doesn't work, I hate super girly stuff and will distance myself from people who stereotype feminity as something fluffy and pretty and soft, girly people get on my nerves. Life is a grind and then we die. I am a no nonsense professional Medium, I am the Zena version of Venus. I do a have a dark sense of humor that gets me through, I am the toughest person I know and I have learned how to be proud of that about myself at 50. I will say that I do not care about Saturn's 'gifts' so much, they are kind of like consolation prizes, I will be glad when I can finally stop working and just read books without having to meet other peoples needs for a living. Also, have learned to like being alone and prefer to live alone.

Saturn in the 1st house in Sagittarius. My whole life is suffering. I'm 38 . It's supposed to get better as you age but in my experience, yeah , it's gotten a little better , however by the time things got a little better (and I do mean a little ) it doesn't even matter anymore . Nothing matters anymore . The first part of my life was so horrible that it's ruined my present and future. I watch everyone around me get blessings , love , money, happiness while I work my life away with no partner , no kids , and one pay check away from losing everything.

I relate to your sad life. It has been much like that with me and - as you say - a little better - in some ways - as I got older. And frustrating also that most astrologers and fortune-tellers I have known or watched on YT have mostly said life was about to become wonderful, soon. This Saffron Sage lady seems to tell it more really and to me that helps a little; I can understand a little better why life has been this way. I've been studying my own astrology and journaled my experiences. I have Saturn debilitated in Cancer in the 4th. I have IC/Moon/Merc at 6 Cancer, Saturn at 10 and my Sun at 25. Saturn seems to have restricted the expression of the other planets because I am much more comfortable with my ascendant energy, 11 Aries. I just turned 50. I don't have a lot of Saturn lessons left because I am getting old. But I notice that I am usually in the Saturn role in whatever situation comes up. I'm the one providing the structure, setting boundaries, being responsible, etc. The biggest manifestation of Saturn I've seen is just stupid limitations. My last Saturn square I learned to look at my transits daily for the best times to accomplish things i wanted to do. Or I pulled tarot cards. Sometimes you can just wait him out. He can't restrict you forever. I also note the inability to do things in a direct manner. Saturn's restrictions can push you in a manipulative direction, for good or bad. I don't believe anymore that I am beholden to doing the right thing because of Saturn. Im also not saying don't do the work to mature. But once you know how the energies manifest you can work around it. I don't think "doing the hard work" is always the answer. I just finished Pluto oppositions to all of those planets plus squares to three others. I have done the work, and that usually means I am the person saying no to someone else. Saturn trines and sextiles are time periods where everything's boring and stable. I don't think it's easy to make changes like moving or big purchases. I have a Saturn trine the stellium I mentioned and was able to make a major move to another part of the country after Saturn went retrograde and when Jupiter conjuncted Uranus in Taurus in my 2nd house. Hopefully that is illustrative on how there are still pockets of opportunity during Saturn transits. During Saturn trines, I experience that money is stable but increases aren't likely unless you have another transit to bring more in. These are just my experiences. Use an ephemeris to know when Saturn will move. Hope that helps!

From going through my Saturn return , it made me go through a lot of shit. Lost my mom, loss of income and its limiting my money. BUt its also making my creativity bold. Im learning little by little filmmaking just with my iphone. But its caused me to defend myself . Especially towards my family. Have Saturn retrograde in the 1st conj ascendant at 26' Taurus. Also Algol on the ascendant. You're so right, my entire life feels like one big jail cell lmao. Trash compactor was another metaphor I used, like in Star Wars with the walls closing in. Got uranus conjunction soon, and then pluto moving into Aquarius activating a grand trine with Saturn, mars and neptune. Apparently I have a good chance to "jailbreak" next year, it couldn't come sooner. I've been putting in the reps all year

My Saturn (Capricorn in 3rd house along with Uranus and Neptune - all 3 Cap in 3rd house) is squaring my rising (Libra). I had a reading saying Saturn was trine my Asc and in the 5th hs with Pisces. . I’d forgotten about that reading. That might explain why my life is crap! Despite a;l my gifts, abilities , blessings and yes dammit, good character; I have nothing and no one. Constant betrayals and disappointment. I’m 60 now and I’m not trying anymore. Its best i think to go by that softer voice of your intuition it is instand it is sft it is suble sometimes in english other times images or a chance eeting with a stranger.
