Someone once described poetry as exactly the right words in exactly the right order, and this poem fits that description to a t. such effortless, evocative beauty, and with such an important point. as a poet, i'd be jealous if i weren't so appreciative.

Unoriginal, pretensious, cloying; one really does seem to be able to get away with passing stuff like this as new, exciting poetry, as long as it's well annunciated and read with a bit of "passion".

It’s hard to accuse someone of pretension when you can’t seem to spell it. Not all poetry is for all people, and this isn’t for you, and that’s fine. Openly mocking a poem you don’t like on a KZbin page simply because it’s not fresh and new to your ears or steeped in enough passion for you is far more pretentious than anything that young woman has done.
