I was about 10 years old when Sarafina came out. I watched my Sarafina video so much the tape stopped working. Years later I saw it on TV. My son heard me singing some of the songs. Christmas comes and I unwrap Sarafina cd from my kid.I have never cried so much. ❤️

Police brutality, apartheid soldiers, arson, burning someone alive, prison torture, etc. All those things involving school kids, made it one of the scariest movie back then and I was 7 when I watched it first time.
