@@rithloveyou9737 Only if you also either remove or errata all the big generic boss monsters, and even then the coin toss would decide who win all the time. Hand traps and floodgates arent the problem, they're both the symptom and the solution to the actual issue.

Everything AFTER 5Ds was a mistake and an attempt to get more money by milking it instead of taking thier time to flesh it out properly and make something balanced and fun to play against and with. But now we have xyz's and links and pendulums like Supreme arc king, or access code talker that needs like TWO EFFECT MONSTERS for a Monster that wipes the field and cannot be negated when doing so while also boosting its attack above the big bad boss monster avg attack stat of 4000 Or Zeus which allows you to quick effect wipe the field multiple times in 1 turn if needed while only needing one zodiac card to be made Or Supreme arc king and his trap card which is completely unholy Or Apolo the bow godesss which is essentially another herald of ultimate Ness that requires less resources. Enough said. And this doesn't mean just only those are ridiculous. Things like borrelord are 2 but again. That is AFTER THE 5Ds erase so my point still stands. I mean literally just go check the usage rate of these cards! People are using the as complete crutches even tho it has nothing to do with the deck. I miss the times when people played what they want like the Egyptian God deck, kuribo, archfiend, blackwing, or the Norse gods and etc. Now it's just runic, labyrinth, prankids/admancipator, despia, swordsoul and etc over and over. I am not saying new is bad but this shit was HORRIBLY executed. HORRIBLY.....executed.
