Watching this on June 7th, 2022. Ray passed away in his sleep about 2 weeks ago at the age of 67. So sad, such a talented actor but more importantly just a real, genuine, honest person. Goodfellas is still one of my top 5 all-time favorite movies. R.I.P. Ray Liotta.

I think he thought of that too, I mean he saw Pacino, DeNiro, Pesci were still kicking, who wouldn't have more plans? Life is so freaking merciless, it is unbelievable. However, I do think his death has more circumstances than is currently publicly discussed. There is no direct foul play, but there are underlying circumstances.

A true Jersey-ite. Near NYC but insulation in the buebs allows for a more normalized human being. A brave man to meet his birth Mom and accept the reality of growing up in a family who chose him and made a way for him to become a working actor. Grateful to learn so much in this interview and hear his reality. A loss of a real human as we would say in NYC a mensch.

June 22, 2022. Ray has been laid to rest. Such a shock but the great thing is that Ray was with the love of his life and he was in the midst of making a film..... what a way to go.... plus, he was in a city that he enjoyed. To fall asleep next to your love, thinking that the next day you are going to wake up and go to the set to do your craft, then spend the evening strolling the city and enjoying the company of your fiancée... in my humble opinion means Ray lived a good life and went straight to heaven. Upon hearing of Ray's sudden death, my first thought was of Jennifer Lopez who had such a beautiful brotherly/ sisterly coworker relationship with Ray during their TV show, "Shades of Blue"...... and how shocked and upset she must have been when she heard of Ray passing so suddenly. Ray will be sorely missed by millions of career fans but most especially by his daughter, fiancee, family and friends. This is a fabulous interview with Ray, as he was in real life.... relaxed, humorous, comedic and honest. Thank-you for posting this interview. Well done, Stacey Wilson Hunt.... and you handled beautifully Ray's off color, funny joke with grace and good nature.

Hey, I'd like to ask: is there a reason that he looks so slowed and tired up there, I never seen him in such a condition, I'm not a big fan of anybody and anything, so forgive me please I might not know some things - I just totally dont get too deep into nothing generally, so that why I'm asking, - maybe you could direct me well into the reason. Nevertheless. A Legend for me - loved him and he'll always have my love! I'm trying to figure if he was a rotten as a great amount of people in this now you may call it "business", but one day it used to be a cinematography I suppose. Greetings

I've never seen Ray Liotta NOT give a great performance, even in crap films that he must have known he could have half-assed. He should have been the biggest star of his generation. I don't know what derailed him, but it wasn't lack of talent.

I've seen many interviews with Mr. Liotta and I'm such a fan, but I wonder why they never talk about his movie "Unlawful Entry" that he made in 1992 with Kurt Russell and Madeleine Stowe, which I think is fabulous! Just curious... And yes... a very handsome man. I'm also struck at his gentle and humble personality which goes to show you what a good actor he is as he often plays such menacing characters.
