Dear interviewers, This is what you do. You ask a straightforward question and let your guest take it where they choose. Get out of their way and be quiet. Well done.

Watching him I can understand why Hollywood treating him so poorly for years, they always eat the nice genuine people. People like him are the reason why people want to become actors, he's so real and forthcoming and so easy to listen to and talk to.

This man is amazing, When you start from the bottom, and work your way up as this man did you know he must be real, and just perfect for all parts that he has played. Not to mention how he sings and entertains, and enjoys what he does. He is for real, and a genuine Happy person. His Parental guidance from Mother and Father was perfect. Wonderful Man, Wonderful Work, Wonderful family. Keep up the good work Kevin Mi Costner!

I like his movies but had no idea how HONEST and driven he is. A real actor's actor. This is the best interview I've ever seen with an actor. Better even than James Lipton on Actor's Studio. This guy is the real thing. I have new respect for him.

I loved the James Lipton but I just watched it and not finished this one yet. I think he would make a great teacher-he’s a natural. I was also interested in the acting group he formed in his early career.

Hi Kevin! My dogs met your beautiful yellow labs in Los Angeles and my friends partied with you in Aspen. I stood 15 feet from you at the Newport Beach wine and food festival when you performed. The girls in front of me turned and said, he’s looking at you. You are my biggest Hollywood crush. One day I wish I could finally meet you and not just your dogs ... always your fan...

As my late mother would have said “They don’t make them like that anymore!” 🥰 Oh so true. Kevin Costner is the greatest. He puts his heart and soul into every word he writes and speaks. What a brilliant and gifted man. I wish I could thank him for all the wonderful memories I have of his movies. Yellowstone is a story whose time has come. I normally do not wear T-shirts but I bought a Yellowstone long sleeve T-shirt and I wear it with pride. My grandmother Eliza was a full-blooded Cherokee Indian Eastern Band so when I saw Dances With Wolves I was totally consumed by every aspect of the movie. The script was wonderful. 💝My best friend of 50 years just passed away. Her name was Jean Marie Black Elk. She is the great granddaughter of the medicine man of the book Black Elk Speaks. Jean was a full-blooded Lakota Oglala Sioux. So Dances With Wolves makes me remember the sacred stories Jean shared with me of her ancestors plight and her own struggles and pain.

I've admired Kevin Costner's acting and directing for years. This being a 90 minute interview, it was quite an in-depth and interesting one. He's very charming, he's funny. He's down to earth and honest. It's apparent his work ethic is driven. He has an excellent intuition and taps into it. It's obvious that he's a wonderful father to his children as well. Thank you for the many, many years of giving your all to your audience. My hope you'll continue to do so.

The current massive success of Yellowstone proves being true to himself certainly has paid off and is a powerful life-inspiring lesson to us who care to hear. The actors in Yellowstone constantly talk about how much they appreciate the supportive efforts of lead Kevin Costner. A wonderful and generous interview! (Jan 2022)

That was an amazing interview. Man, he is painfully honest, you just don’t see that in this day and time. This guy puts his heart and soul into whatever project is before him. Whatever happens, you get your monies worth with this guy. I’m really taken aback by his honesty, it’s so damn rare, especially by somehow in Hollywood. If you’ve got this guy for a friend, you’ve really got something very valuable.

And, yes, Kevin Costner is a great person, with a bunch of great qualities that all stay at his foundation as an actor, filmmaker, director, dreamer, private citizen and producer. However, it seems that nobody, who had a comment here, paid attention at all to the interviewer, Janelle Riley, a classy, non-invasive, very well prepared hostess. The interview was great because both people involved here played superbly well their roles. THANK YOU !!!

This was an excellent interview. Kevin Costner held by attention for over 90 minutes. Fascinating to listen to, I loved his Gene Hackman story. Costner is a rare, rare jewel of a man. Fierce determination, unwavering integrity, a generous spirit, and a brilliant director. His honesty and charm was evident in this interview. I could have easily listened another 90 minutes where he only talked about Dances with Wolves. And if all those gifts weren't enough, he is still gorgeous in his 60s.

At 1:14:10 when he was describing his kids watching A Perfect World and his 6 yr old turning to him to touch his face to make sure he was okay after the movie was over....all the feels. How sweet, what an incredible experience that must be for Kevin Costner and his children to experience watching their dad in such riveting movies like A Perfect World. Especially so young when everything in life is still so magical and is viewed from such a different lens than as an adult. Definitely an "awww" moment for me in this interview. I love that movie and I was probably 11 or 12 the first time I watched it and I bawled at the end.

Kevin this was such a gift watching this and learning more about who you are off the stage. I agree with you about Sean Connery and Sean Penn. when I go to a movie most of the time it’s for who is in the movie because I love the way they act. No matter what I always have watched your movies and it’s automatic. I feel that way about Gene Hackman and Sean Connery Sean Penn and Ethan Hawke. Can’t wait to see Horizon and I find myself wanting to rewatch Yellowstone because I didn’t want it to end. The best to you and your family
