Innaritu honestly doesn't get the praise he deserves. Birdman is a masterpiece of the modern era, it's an absolutely flawless film, and suddenly flew into my top 15 movies of all time. The Revenant isn't a flawless film but it's absolutely incredible, one of the most visually attractive films of recent years and one the most visceral, raw cinema experiences I have ever had.

This was an amazing film. I mean have seen some films over the past few months but this one had to be the most visually disturbing and stunning at the same time. You are fully immersed in the experience without 3D , IMAX or words sometimes. The awards are well deserved .

There are two things: 1. rehearse all day long, and 2. improvisation. Some people think the constant repetition of a topic, a movement, a script, a philosophy, or a breath, is not related to improvisation, but it's a lie. How many rehearsals Beethoven did do before improvising the Fifth Symphony? I think everyone understands now that repetition of a script is unskippable to be able to "breathe improvisation." The fight with the grizzlie makes me think about everyone's fight for the truth. Love U Leo ❤️ xx
