Bought a lightly used (900 mile break in) 2023 model and it's amazing. I'm a cruiser guy that wanted to get out of the zone and this little monster has done it. I love how needle sharp the handling is. All you have to do is turn your head slightly and the bike is cutting that corner so sharp the road bleeds. So glad I got this instead of a larger displacement supersport. I'm 6 foot even and 210 pounds and fit on it like a tailor made glove.

Finally! Mr Sagar Honesty Sheldekar nails another review. You have put my thoughts into good words. The rc390 is now a good jack of a lot of trades but not the master of one anymore. Why do a half touring half race setup is something I don't understand. I would still have been okay if they just killed the rc and made it a proper sports tourer types. The rc390 was a stark contrast to the ninjas and the R3s. It had a purity of purpose. Why rob it of its USP? (We all know it is to sell it to a larger audience by betraying the core fanbase).

Lovely review as always. Totally disappointed with Bajaj's penny pinching with the suspensions. First with the Adv 390, now the RC. That penny pinching doesn't reach the customer either as Bajaj has started charging a lot of premium these days. The 2014 RC was launched at 205k! They should have at least offered two variants to let at least the enthusiasts get a taste of the complete package. I hope they have at least used a passable quality of plastic for the new airbox as the old one made with the plastic used in 50 Rupee toys was known to crack every 10k km or so. Same goes with the head gasket, water pump seals and the radiator fans too which all were of pathetic quality.

The KTMs have always been most value for money bikes right from 2015 generation 2. Speed accurate, saddle accurate ( firm chasis and suspension always better than cushy and softer ones !), Full suite electronics that none offers in thier price range backed by decent service. For once the KTM falls short for its very high set standards. The Brand still commands respect over its peers any day !

Hai Sir! Some clips I have seen that KTM RC 390 reaches 175kmph and u said still it can go more... But I have check some top speed test it hits the rev limiter with 173kmph... Great review sarge... I've ridden my friend's old rc390 extensively and love the fun it brings... I thought I'll book the 2022 model as it seems to bring more refinement... I don't plan to take it on track days... Just city, highways and some mountains... Is the front suspension being soft a deal breaker in the mountains? If I'm willing to sacrifice on power ...is the rr310 BTO a better choice? I'll definitely test ride and decide but looking for your feedback
