Very informative.......but, coming from you I would expect nothing less. Im thinking of pulling the trigger to purchase but I wanted to watch some videos first to see what Id be getting into.
@sageaudio Жыл бұрын
Thank you saying that - I really appreciate it! I don't want to influence whether you purchase it or not, but I've found it to be a really useful plugin, so it's definitely worth considering it.

Excellent overview. I use a different limiter, but it's great to know what's out there and how it might be useful in a specific situation. It seems to me that pro-l2 would be great for almost any mix or master. I'm having great success with performance of plugins on my M1 MacBook; I'd be interested to hear from anyone who has used the pro-l2 with 32x oversampling: how much CPU does it use?
@sageaudio3 жыл бұрын
Hey Brian! Thanks for watching and leaving a comment - it really is super versatile! I haven't tried it with 32x oversampling, but that's a great question! SageAudio.com

Awesome video! Thank you so much. Question... If you select LUFS -14 streaming, will the output of the track be at -1dB? Or do you set that in another setting?
@sageaudio3 жыл бұрын
You'll need to lower the ceiling to -1dB! Thanks for watching! SageAudio.com

Is it better to use the Pro-L2 at the end of the master track chain, or render it to a stereo track first & then open that in the DAW to use the Pro-L2?
@angelinagargano39403 жыл бұрын
Hello, thanks for your help and advice. Well I have asked a ton of pros from Cubase and more with no answer...my issue is in Cubase 11 the only place my ffprol2 works is in the last slot in my stereo out fader. When I try to use it on busses or independent channels it does not limit. Ex I put limiter on a bus or channel set output to -0.5 and it does not limit at that setting or any other. Any suggestions? Thanks have a great day.
@sageaudio3 жыл бұрын
Hey Angelina! I'm not sure why that's happening! If you're talking about limiting your final output level than the L2, and any limiter, will need to be the last insert on your stereo output. It should still limit individual channels and busses, but this doesn't mean that it'll protect the final output from peaking. But I'm not sure if this is what you're asking. SageAudio.com
@angelinagargano39403 жыл бұрын
@@sageaudio thanks for responding! Yes that is what I am saying. It only works on the final stereo output not on individual channels or busses. Thanks have a nice day.
@vladimirshepelenko46953 жыл бұрын
You need to include the limiter not only in the last slot, this last slot should be the POST fader and not the PRE.
@angelinagargano39403 жыл бұрын
@@vladimirshepelenko4695 thanks bunches...I will definitely try this as I am using pre not post...hoping this solves the issue. Your awesome thanks for the help and have a great day.

Can this plugin limiter be used WHILE recording??

Great video! I have a question. When I have finished adjusting the limiters gain slider with unity gain on, do I turn off unity gain and then adjust my output volume?
@sonidodemoniacostudios77523 жыл бұрын
yes, unity is to listen what the limiting is doing better, with unity gain is easier to listen if youre apliyng too much limiting, after that you turn it off

I downloaded the trial. Something is not right? The moment i insert the plugin into my Nuendo, there's almost a 5 db increase of volume without doing anything.. another issue is that it seems that the brickwall is not working. My master bus show is +4 or +5. Is it because it's a trial version?
@sageaudio Жыл бұрын
That's really weird - I'm not sure! I've never had this issue with the plugin or its demo. Is the output dial set to 0dB?
@abrahamraj3172 Жыл бұрын
@sageaudio the support team, replied. My bad. I was using the VST2. Hence, I had that issue. VST3 works flawlessly. 💪
