Followed the couple of Rip Battles between Big J and yourself, which I really enjoyed. But then I saw this MJ Old School Hunting video and good grief, it brought be me back to my primary school years in the 90's! 🤗 This was wonderful, thank you for opening up these Upper Deck, Fleer and Hoops packs and I know it doesn't mean much, but you just got yourself another subscriber. You're bringing the young-and-naive, but utterly fun nostalgia back, as I look over my shoulder now at my old piddly little A4 folder (or binder in the US?) with the small collection I had. Ha, when I ran out of the official/proper Ultrapro sleeves, they just sitting in their "made up" 3 x 3 plastic sleeve holders. 🤦‍♀ And by "made up", I mean I lilterally took an A4 clear sheet protector and stapled (yes, STAPLED) them into the same three by three template to hold the cards. 😂😇 I'm going to go back and watch your hunt from the start now, so thank you again, Sage.

But hey, when you were 10 or so and didn't have anything else except weekly pocket money, you did what was necessary to survive haha. Haha I dug it out of storage at the beginning of the 2022, when I only started collecting NBA cards again. 😂 I may have thrown them away in shock when buying a whole bunch of new clear ultrapros to replace them. It was a shock that everything is under Panini?! How did you find the change? Either way, it may be knowly that a scary 25+ years have passed since collecting again, but this specific Old School channel makes me grin regardless, reminiscingin about Upper Deck, Tops and Hoops... ... while I (still) DON'T know what I'm doing now. 🤷‍♀🤣 Haha thanks Sage.

Another successful MJ hunt! So many cool cards, and I have so many thoughts. First of all, that Gheorge Muresan commercial was fantastic, I definitely remember watching that back in the day. I cracked up at the Scott Hastings Topps Gold because they just ran a segment with him on Inside the NBA this week and they kept showing when he sucker-punched Chuck hahaha. I would have been in heaven if I opened that Hoops pack as a 12-year old with both Shaq and Zo rookies in it! And I think my favorite card of the whole break was the Jason Kidd SP Holoview - that’s a pretty sweet rookie! He doesn’t have a ton of nice rookie cards since there weren’t a lot of great sets in 94, but that’s one of his better RCs!

eBay mostly. Wax packs like the 1990 Fleer worry me, but they're so cheap that it's not a big risk.
