3/8th oz jig? Never fish saginaw river before. Sick of port huron still catch fish but tired of it. 1/2 oz over there 3/4.

We usually use 1/2 or 3/4 on the Saginaw

Isn't the season closed on March 15 in the river ???

Traditionally yes. This year however the main portion of the Saginaw river is not closing so it’s open to fishing still
