I'm battling an addiction that keeps coming and going. I'm trying to get a "side hustle" going, not only for extra money but as a hobby as well. My mother passed on 7/20/2024 - her birthday- she went into the hospital 7/19/24. a month to the same dad my father ended up in the hospital with another heart attack 8/19/24. Dad has had 9 stents and several heart attacks. Before mom died dad was just waiting for death and didn’t want to pursue bypass surgery to stay here. After mom died he has yo-yo back and forth- he wants to live, then doesn’t, he wants the surgery, then doesn’t, he wants to be in a be hospital, then doesn’t. I finally was done with this and told him yesterday he needs to decide and no matter what he decides I’ll support him but DECIDE! He did. He chose to live- but this means he need a lot of support. So I had to take a leave from work to support dad. ( English is his second language so I need to be there to help support him and I’m a nurse so medically I need to be there for that piece too.) No one else in my family can do this- however my siblings have their talents too and I was reminded yesterday of this and I began to trust and lean on the siblings and not feeling like I have to do this myself. I had to manage my mother death myself and clean her apt by myself. And so I feel that same thing with dad. But I realize I need help and in the process I’m evaluation my job - I know I’m just a busy they’ll replace me in a heart beat- I may make another change and go back to agency where I can choose my shifts and not be beholden to a wkly schedule. So I’m still deciding on this. I’m meditating to find answers. I feel this leave to help dad is also the universe giving me a break because I still haven’t gotten over my mothers death and by forcing me to take a leave to help dad allows me to breath- yes it stressful to manage and be dads caregiver but it allows me to focus on what’s important - my family. The iridescent wings is dragonfly wings- I have been seeing those since mom passed and my they keep interacting with me, following me and flying in my face “looking at me” 😊

My ex lives two flats down from me, and because he's losing his sight, I have been his main carer - I wish a different life, but my ethics won't allow me to just walk away from this situation. Hi Rhea. I had a very restless night, could not fall asleep. Today was a very emotional day. I thought a lot of my brother who passed away on the 1st of August. I miss him alot. I'm want to be with my mum but unfortunately I have my own responsibilities with my sons and myself. My siblings, mum and myself live in different provinces. This month is very difficult to get through. My brother passed away on the 1st of August and my dad's death anniversary is on the 21st of August it's 32 years for my dad and on the 24th of August it's 19 years for my granny passing and 25th of August it's 19 years for my aunt passing. 😢😢😢
