I want to leave behind stagnation. I have been caregiver to elderly parent for 21 years, put my needs, independence and freedom on the back burner to devote my time and energy to him. He passed away on Oct 27th and now I have my independence and freedom back. I am now trying to figure out what I need and want in my life in my next chapter. There was someone I was interested in but they have been giving mixed signals and I am getting bored and getting ready to move on. I just got my independence back a week ago and I am not prepared to lose it this quickly if this person does step up. I am focusing on having fun and adventure and not prepared to get serious. It maybe too late for this person because I am this close to moving on.
