The man can speak English but the main point here is communication. Getting the message out to as much of the local community as possible. He wouldn't speak hausa if the case was in Abuja or anywhere else that isn't a predominantly hausa society.

The case was not about Nigerians or Nigeria Is a local case between he and his colleague. The other guy owes him money since 2018 and refuses to pay then this guy took it to Facebook and insult the other guy, he felt like the insult might affect his reputation in politics. That is the reason why he reported him to the police.
