If you look at someone and say "gori" or "gora" they take it as a compliment! And when someone looks at us and calls us "kaala" we get offended. Why is that so? Kaala skin is equally beautiful as gora skin. All skin tones are beautiful.. Don't take it as an insult please (even if people call you "kaala" in a mocking way.) Really, she is very intelligent, and she is truly beautiful from her core (not that artificial outer beauty which other Bollywood actors have) she has beauty in her thoughts.. I am 13, I am fair and my face is filled with Acne & pimples (something which is not considered as beautiful) - so the same thing happens with me - when people talk with me, the first thing they notice, is my pimples. So I too sometimes apply loads of facewash on my face to remove them, because they kind of look down upon me. Then I have seen by best friend, who is a tone darker. She always sees me & says "Oh you are so cute/beautiful/fair,etc. I think I should put tomato/facewashes, etc on my face". So I really feel bad about that. We need to understand that outer 'so called' beauty doesn't matter. The thing that matters is THE TRUE BEAUTY of our core, beauty of our thoughts, actions, intelligence, etc.

She is right.I personally have tan skin and i had gone through so much criticism even from my own family. I was bullied and i would cry a lot every day. After years, I realised that every skin tone is beautiful because brown skin may not be appreciated here but in foreign countries they would die to have a skin tone like this. As i realised this fact , i am more confident now.

When i was in High School , most of the students used to make fun of me becz i had pimples on my face which is ofcrse due to puberty n my oily skin. My classmates used to tell me that they don't feel comfortable talking with me while looking at my face....and now after 4 years most of them have pimples😁...n i m just comfortable with my oily pimple less skin🙂
