It depends as a hispanic male we get a lot of love from females in the family, like when I gained weight "Wow you're looking like a man now!" When I lost the weight "Oh you're looking good!" (Usually a thinner shape I prefer to keep) but on the other hand my sister starts to gain a tiny bit of weight "Maybe you should take it easy on those snacks/soda" or my mom will be like "oh mija I got you a few salads that you can have for lunch" we are all adults lol

We all have accents. Regardless of where you’re from you have an accent. I speak four languages and I have an accent in each one of them. It’s unavoidable, each language changes the way we speak, so you end up developing an accent in the other languages as well. I don’t sound particularly from anywhere and I honestly love that. 😊

I was born and raised in huntsville Alabama (I don't live there now, creeps) but huntsville is a very melting pot of people (most of the city was founded from Germans and Irish and mexican folk) so there's not much of a traditional southern accent from there. So if I'm anywhere in the south they think I'm from the north and anywhere other than they south they think I'm from somewhere near the south

Yeah, she has all the theory and most of the exacution nailed down but you can almost notice that the way she constructs the sounds with her mouth and throat are gringo. I don't know if the story is true, but I remember a news article about a woman from the US, who only spoke english, and after either a seizure or a head injury, she suddenly had a french accent, and the supposed explanation was that the way her throat constructed words changed after the incident. So that's what I'm guessing happened here; she learned to do the individual sound on english bases and is applying those sounds so spanish, even if her execution is almost right, those basics still linger and sound odd applied to spanish

Well, it depends. The thing is, many of us change the accent when around people with a different accent for a while. I am Colombian, but I am in Spain more often, so my cousins always laugh about my Spanish accent when I come over. In addition, you're much more likely to get targeted by criminals if you have a different or weird accent.

My father lived in Argentina for two years, and he has a completely different voice when he speaks Spanish. We live in the Houston area, so he’s mostly gotten rid of the Argentinian accent, and when he speaks, if you didn’t see him saying it, you definitely wouldn’t assume the voice was coming from a blonde hair blue eyed man

We do that to each other all the time, for example, my family is from Colombia but i was raised in Argentina and when i speak to the side of my family that stayed in Colombia they do the same to my argentinian accent and when they come here, i do the same to their accents from Cali (a city in Colombia)
