I have a few questions about this course if you dont mind answering! :)) 1. Is this like a random art course that you take or like a pre college course? does this course apply to college? What is this course for (like besides art is it like for anything else...?)? 2. would you recommend this course etc? 3. do you actually have to fly out to somewhere to take this course?! like frfr??? like does this course take place at a whole different school or something? 4. how do you sign up to get to courses like these? like how do you find courses like these?

1.) it’s a pre college course at SAIC and I believe it gave me 2 art credits for college? Honestly, I’m not sure lol💀 All of the courses are art based: there’s animation, film, experimental materials, advanced painting, drawing, figure drawing and painting, comics, and a lot more :) 2.) I would recommend it!! If it’s being taught by Amanda Joy, 1000%- she was one of my favorite teachers I’ve ever had and I wish I had her for more than 2 weeks but then again, I feel like a 2 week course was the just the right amount of time for me to improve👍 3.) and yes! I had to fly from Wyoming to Illinois lol- you stay in the dorm for 2 weeks or if you live near Saic, you can commute on the train everyday. You move in on the Sunday before your classes start and move out on the Friday or Saturday after your final class day :D the dorm was super fun and you gotta meet a lot of people there👍 4.) honestly, I don’t know how to💀 its kind of like a running joke that the school just scopes out art kids and they send you something in the mail lol- I got another course invitation from Boston and Denver but I decided to go here👍 I believe it should be on their websites tho? I’m not sure tho

I am from MN so I am a little closer to Illinois (I could drive there) and SAIC is one of the top schools I'm looking at right now so it'd be really fun to do something like this. Was part of the trip cost paid for you by SAIC, your high school, or some outside organization? This honestly sounds so fun please let me know more on this! Love your content!
