Sail & Sleep on a Nile Felucca

Our Intrepid Tours included this felucca cruise down the Nile starting in front of our Obelisk Hotel in Aswan. It was an enjoyable cruise in the 107-degree weather because we were sailing and tacking into the cooling winds off the water. We tied up on the Western shore for the night as the heat of the day dissipated. The crew even dropped mosquito nets all around our sleeping areas even though we did not see any.
