So pleased to have found your video. I'm getting reaquainted with my Beta 20hp engines (there's 2 as the boat is a catamaran). The video was very clear - super helpful, thanks.

I have dame but After a while, when it gets hot, the water comes out a little and it is hot. Is the problem with the pump or is the valve damaged? Is the cylinder head gasket damaged?////Give low gas or gas until the end of the body does not affect the speed

Hello, Overheating can have several causes. Assuming you have a diesel engine with close and raw cooling circuit: 1/ check, that your heat exchanger and close cooling circuit has enough coolant. (Open heat exchanger lid and check level- fill up if necessary) 2/ check if your water pump is picking up enough water (large and steady spills of water should come out of exhaust. If not, change inpeller and check for blockage at water intake area.) 3/ check thermostat for correct function ( if not change thermostat) 4/ check that coolant circuit, heat exchamger is not blocked - clean obstacle or replace heat exchanger if necessary. Old heat exchangers can get blocked up by salt and other deposits. Also very common problem is parts of broken old impeller stuck in cooling circuit. Head gasket damage can be checked by pressure test. See videos on how to perform cylinder pressure test on diesel engine. In my experience, most overheating problems are related to obstructed flow of either raw water or coolant. Good luck!
