Sailboat Racing Tips: Tiller Technique

The tiller, and by extension, its tiller extension, is the direct link to the boat's rudder. Proper technique when holding it allows the sailor to more directly feel the boat's balance. The biggest problem new sailors have with the tiller extension is when they are tacking. He left out tips on tacking with the tiller extension.
