Thanks for the glimpse of my boat at 3:10 on the right hand side of the picture, Kerrin II. I did see swallow in Holyhead. I wanted to say hello, but I think you were out. Touring Scotland myself right now, so we might bump into each other. (Figuratively, that is)

It’s a great sail in a F5-6 with neap tides. Light airs can force you to go to motor to keep to daylight. Unless your boat goes well in light airs. Mike

Welcome to Ireland. Wave regatta June bank holiday weekend. Lots of anchorage in area if you want to explore life on the hook. Ireland eye protection from E. Taylor bay protection from N -NE on lambast or salt pan bay/swallow cove on other side of island. Can be a bit noisy with birds but good coverage when tucked in well

Bloody good sail, I thoroughly enjoyed it. If I'd have been with you I would have been fighting over that sunny spot in the cockpit - three's definitely a crowd!! It's nice to watch someone sailing locally, don't get me wrong, I like watching the folk who are dotted around the world. But when I look at where you sail I'm thinking how much it offers and how interesting it is. Well done mate!

Hi there great sailing once again, im about to put my sailboat into the water and try my boat out and seeing as its my first time and tryingvto get as much information as i can before i go out. Im hopng to get someone who knows how to sail to come out with me or i will do it ths old school way go out on engine and just hoist up a sail. Love watching your video's and look forward to your next.

Hi Robert, would recommend taking anyone out for the first time. Engine manoeuvres first, light airs less than 10 knots and play with the sails one at a time first. Good luck and pick your days correctly mike

Not only is this lovely boat my idea of the perfect boat for me, she's also pretty quick with it. Is Swallow the boat you'll keep for life, do you ever think of getting another boat down the road? People mostly seem to want to go bigger or newer, but for me this type would be the boat for life
@sailingcosiloveit2 жыл бұрын
Well that’s a question. If you knew me well you would know the answer to the question. I’ve had countless different sailing boats over the years. I seem to change every 12 to 24 months but I don’t know why. I’m just very inquisitive to how different vessels handle and sail. Always think I’m going one better but for every plus I find a minus and that’s what keeps me changing. Crazy I know but there you go mike
