As someone who lives on the Northwest Passage its clearing, pans are moving. Took the boat out last night as far as I could. Few more weeks and we will be crossing back to mainland Canada camping all summer. Have her stop at CHARS in Cambridge Bay (my home).
@Coleen-Love4 ай бұрын
At least six months ago Coleen West proposed this sponsorship concept and especially the Ocean measurement idea, in your comment section. From listening to you, the biggest hurdle for you proceeding with Corporate sponsorships is that you are going about this wrong. Drop the "my values" talk (everyone knows that it is code for leftist talking points) and do the opposite. Be politically neutral as everyone is sick of the left (in case you have not figured it out yet). There is a ton of money from mainstream America and many commercial businesses that would love to sponsor an honest man, not an ideologically driven Euro leftist who screams slogans like "global warming" all the time, Instead say this: "Global Warming is an inconclusive theory in need of impartial and balanced research and we are taking a neutral view and will let the data speak for itself. We will do research each year for the next 20 years and are looking for open source long-term funding, especially from players who have an interest in this field. All data will be politically neutral and sponsorship is open to any company regardless of industry or affiliations". Remember, do and say the opposite of what you are saying. Dump the junk of leftism and will get you Exxon and US corporate America to sponsor your trip and start earning proper money and doing proper Ocean research. The left will keep you poor and sad and never change anything. Try something new since you have nothing to lose and everything to gain. Remember, once you start pumping leftist junk no one will work with you or touch you no matter what you say later.

I know a lot of sailors that think the BVI or sailing in the tropics is the place to be. The world you share with us is surreal. Sohvi & Juho: Congratulations are in order for winning the Alaska Global Warming video award last month. Our daughter works in Hollywood for Disney and she was telling us all about the influx of votes you received on your production. We are all praying for a safe and glorious passage next and must add you should really produce a documentary on the Northwest Passage. There is no question in our minds that your production will be absolutely breath taking. Thank you both again for all the marvelous skiing in Alaska episode's, simply outstanding.

Definitely the most stunning video from you that I've seen so far. Just beautiful. Yes, not much sailing but obviously there'll be much more focus on that later this year. Amusing when you say you'll just go for one more run, which in reality must have meant another couple of hours working your way back up the hill - but clearly it was worth the effort! You are both having amazing and unique experiences that you and your followers can cherish for years. Thanks for taking so much time to document, edit and share. Keep it up!
