Great SAILING video. It looks like such a beautiful area to sail. I am impressed with the calmness in which you approach issues. You never seem to get upset. I on the other hand tend to get a bit wound up. But that is just my nature. Stay well and enjoy your sail south. Hopefully we'll see you in the Netherlands... or somewhere.

Thank you😁❤️. Oh, wow.... the calmness....Not much so in Norwegian, only for the English videos😂. We take our time studying the university of KZbin to calm down😅

Hi Guys. Great video. Is that the VP D1-30 / D1-20 engine you have? There may be a bit of info we can pass on if you have not seen our maintenance videos. Get in touch. The aft transom shower valves is a good idea. The O rings and joints on the hose and mixer valve suffer in the winter an can leak in the spring. Big issue on Bavara forums. We have a VP D1-30. The cockpit shower is a pain during winter, but everything is controlled beautifully by these valves as long as the hose and pipes out there are emptied before winter😊 We’ll check out your maintenance videos once more, thank you👍🏻

I do not understand how the valves help. They shut off MORE water to the transom, but surely there is water still in the pipes? It was a nice sailing day 👍

Hi😀. The valves will help when we prepare the boat for winter season. During fall we empty the water tank completely, washing it thoroughly. In the same process we disconnect the cockpit showerhead, blowing the water from the hose and pipes back into the tank. We shut off the valves, fill water back into the tank and the water will only run in the pipes inside the boat.🤓. Steep learning curve living in the Arctic😁😉

@@SailingArgo - that makes sense. Thank you for being so detailed about it.
