Just found your channel by accident yesterday, and I'm very impressed. I know the area in which you sail very well. Makes my sailing around Loch Lomond seem very mundane. Looking forward to watching more of your content.

Lovely video, and I appreciate the effort that went into making it. Gigha via the mull is a goal for me this year as well.

Thanks Sean, appreciate the comment. Hope you make it round to Gigha this year, well worth the visit. 😊

Nice scenery Murray. I did see that Sanda Island was for sale at offers over 2.5 Million would make a nice retreat for someone. I have watched a few channels trying to keep out of the chop at the Mull of Kintyre. Not been around it myself but it looks like to get out of it takes you almost to the traffic separation zone if not in it. I did read somewhere that close-in is an option. As for your presentation, I'm in 😁

Thank you for the comment. Yes I have read too that close in is an option but I prefer to be further from the shore... I am looking forward to anchoring at Sanda sometime soon and having a wee look around, cheers 😊

Fantastic video as always. Quick question; it’s looks like you don’t have a sail number is that correct ? Fair winds and following seas.

Hi, thank you. I don't have a sail number. thanks for watching.

That looked a nice rounding of the Mull of K. Do you have to have at least 3 crew for the canal?
@SailingSula7 ай бұрын
Hi Paul, I think plenty people do it with 2 crew, you do get help from the canal staff. it was our first trip through and it was certainly very helpful to have a pilot.

Great video again Murray. How did you go about booking a pilot for the canal? Dom

Thanks Dom, we picked up Peter's number from the crinan canal pilots website.

The place names in the title of this sound more Klingon than Scottish.
@SailingSula7 ай бұрын
interestingly the place names are anglicisation of the original Gaelic origin

I'd love to follow a sailor around this part of thecwest coast of Scotland, but this guy is a bit full of himself. A bit too much eyes sweeping from one side to the other. I'm out.

thanks for the feedback Sean, sorry it came across that way for you.
