We completely understand! We grew up in Texas and the water is very muddy. The water doesn't even look real in the Bahamas! 😆 It's like stepping into a dream.

It's definitely getting better, or, at least, our comfort zone is expanding. We'll take it either way! And, yes, everyone is coming along for the adventures!!!

You know for ya'lls first Boat 🚢. I believe you Couldn't of gotten a better boat. Seawind makes a very good boat 🚢. Now with time you may want a bigger boat. I believe a 45 to 55 is the perfect size of cat to have. So Now is the Question? What are your plans? Do you want to stay in the Caribbean or sail ⛵️ the world? In the pacific, there are some of the most Beautiful Islands 🏝 in the world 🌎. You have the Hawaiian Islands and you have the French Polynesian Islands 🏝. All are breath taking. So injoy and dream. We do intend on sailing the world, but not for some time. Traveling and entering foreign countries with Winston is an added layer of difficulty and getting it wrong could spell disaster. We are, in our heart of hearts, still monohull sailors but I think we're slowly being won over by catamarans. 45-55' is a LOT of boat and we lose stuff enough as it is already!!! So, for the foreseeable future, we will probably stick to the US, Canada, and Bahamas.

Did you notice your dog shedding more on the boat or once you got to the Bahamas? What do you do to stay on top of the hair?

We haven't noticed any more shedding than usual. For a short hair breed he sheds a LOT. Honestly the best thing we do is go for walks on the beach. He gets all kinds of sandy so he's getting rinsed down almost daily. Seems to be helpful.

We are required to raise this flag when we approach a new port of entry to a country that we have not yet cleared through immigration/customs. This tells all other vessels and country officials that we are awaiting official entry into the country.
