I can't figure out why you only have 30.1K subscribers...as you're definitely one of the best KZbin Sailing Channels...PERIOD! End of Story.

I bang my head on the desk too! I don’t really understand it. We’ve checked all the boxes when it come to production, consistently posting, solid content, even Granby thumbnails but somehow it just doesn’t grow at the rate we thought it would. We’re up for any ideas! Oh and thank you thank you Scott. Thank you for acknowledging and thank you most of all for following our adventures. You are the reason why we keep making content and sharing this wild ride with you!

People always ask this on the cool channels with relatively low views. The sailing space is super crowded these days. How much advertising do you do others platforms or other channels? Are you just relying on the you tube rec engine? What demographic that is watching these? I really don't know but the commenter above is absolutely right you guys put out super good content with a solid positive vibe.

@@WEsail hope you take this as constructive yet positive criticism, but you're not ticking all the boxes. You do a great job on the surface but there isn't a huge amount of depth to your content. It's a very well put together travelogue, in the old fashion sense of what you'd see on TV in the 90's and 00's. But, there's no sense of a story, you don't really teach us anything, we don't get any insight into any place you're at. And your music is just a bit cheesy. take this episode, Moorea - one of the jewels of the Pacific, and what did you teach us? It could've just been any island, anywhere. There's a 1000 channels just like yours, have you done a deep dive into what makes you different? As others have mentioned, your production is good. Although, you tend to use the drone way too much, and your spoken word audio quality is very inconsistent - especially in this episode. Another thing to consider is what you are sailing. Cats (no matter your actual budget) give out a certain vibe about how the trip is being funded. People want to dream and have something relatable to aspire to, something with a sense of adventure and grounded in what they might actually achieve. You guys sometimes come across a bit aloof as we don't get anything but tiny glimpses into who you are as people. Keep it up. You're living a dream only a fraction of people will ever experience, keep that in mind.

I don’t understand it either this is one of if not the best sailing channels out there. Should be well over 100k subs imo. This channel is the channel that got this okie interested and almost talked the wife into buying a cat when the kids are grown. We’re planning on visiting Bora Bora in 2024 but I think we might go for Moorea instead. It looks a little less commercial… although everything is getting busy these days. Blown away with the shark/ray swim and I too, am surprised that no one seems concerned about the stinger on the stingrays. I know some places trim them so they’re not an issue but those ones looked full size and ready to rumble! Great video… yet again.

hi guys...been following some of your videos for info for our own travels. imagine our surprise to see our boat in the background (at 'Ōpūnohu Bay, around 7'55"). shame we did not meet up ! we have very similar situation with long stay visa...got to tahiti...decided we never want to leave so now getting the LSV. intrigued if you are able to get such in a week...ours is going to take longer. anyway, hope to catch up in february - where will you be ? cheers chris & debbie / sv jabulo

Hey there! So Warren was able to get his LSV. This was back in August when he flew back to the states and about a month later is when he got the visa in hand. It was a lot of hard work but it finally worked out. Hope you get yours because this place is a dream. We are planning to sail up to the tuamotos in February. Sea you around!

Great video. You are fun, authentic and your cinematography and story telling are captivating. I found your channel through watching other sailing channels, and I suspect you will continue to find subscribers that way. BTW….Warren, sorry for not knowing the back story, but why do you only need to go back to the U.S. for a long stay visa and not Erica? I assume she has some immigration status you don’t have, so was just curious. Thank you for continuing to share your stories and adventures!

Sooooo jelly you guys!!! I am more excited for you than Erica gets for passage cocktails 😜. Can't wait to see more shots of the French Poly islands. I hope you guys have a safe time over in Bora Bora. A few other sailing channels have mentioned that Bora Bora is not very accomodating to sailors. One channel (The Sailing Family) had their boat tear lose from a French Poly gov approved mooring. Their Outremer 51 Cat got smashed up and the Gov blamed them. They were told that the moorings are your only option and dropping anchor is not allowed. Inspect your moorings! Check out their video of the damage kzbin.info/www/bejne/in_WlWesZbSlbbs
