The rock formations and tidal pools were undoubtedly one of the most amazing scenes I've ever seen on any channel anywhere! Thanks so much for sharing it with us! Wow!!!

Guys you just gave me the visual of the South Pacific, in HD, that Delos could not so many years ago. My eyes were popping from my head, mouth open, and I was giggling like a child. The endless variations of blue water, the clarity of the water, the sea critters great and small. The footage you captured going down the break in the Atoll was breathtaking and matched everything my mind has dreamt up for the last 12 years. Thank you both for sharing and just so you know, even though you might think the footage may be boring, or you have seen it for a few months now, it whisks us all away if only for ~20min a week. Cheers and more snorkeling footage please...it's snowing in Chicago already

Hi guys! Have just stumbled across your channel and I have liked, subscribed and rung the bell! I have one question so far. @1:30; you are picked up a very, VERY large snap-shackle, one of which I have not seen the kind of ever before. Could you please chat more about this shackle and post a link in the description in a future episode (If you haven’t already done so in a previous episode. If you have, could you please post a link to this episode?) Many thanks and fair winds and following seas for all your future episodes. Kindest regards, Mr Michel Dawes

Ahh yes, it’s our anchoring shackle, it’s made by Mantus (like the anchor company that’s so well known) and it’s for catching mooring buoy lines, I modified it a little so it hooks on our chain… anyways, glad you found us, and thanks very much for taking the time to watch and comment!! CHEERS

The only reason to "leave Atoll" is to find one, two, three or...an unlimited number of previously unknown ones. How about the world`s finest atoll that hardly anyone knows ? *Alacranes Atoll* in the Gulf of Mexico. This place is awesomely splendid as well as splendidly awesome !

Your new sail looks like an asym but I see that you have it rigged with just one sheet. When you need to gybe it do you douse it and then re-deploy it on the other side of the forestay?

Do you think having a Cat vs. Monohull is a big advantage there because of the shallower draft? Would you still go there if you had a Monohull?
@sprowles91192 жыл бұрын
In a wide-open place like that, why would someone anchor within a hundred meters of you when they could be far, far away and respect your privacy? To me, that's one of the joys of cruising - getting away from neighbors right up next to you. An area of several square kilometers has two boats in it and they're within hailing distance. Boo.
