Hey there! We're Nick and Terysa and we’ve become completely obsessed with the idea of sailing around the world and sharing our experiences and information through our sailing lifestyle videos with others.
We met travelling around India, and quickly agreed that rather than “settling down” and doing what most normal people do, we wanted to travel and have adventures! We moved onto our 38 foot monohull in 2014, sailed across the Atlantic twice, cruised the Caribbean, Bahamas and Europe, before buying a brand new 45 ft catamaran!
We hope you enjoy what we do. Please subscribe, like and share.

Much respect! Your thumbnail clickbait game is strong. And you did it without any T&A. There should be an annual award.

New ship rule. Sausages on bread can only be consumed when at least one crew member is wearing the appropriate Bunnings hat. 😂

good choice doing that during the day. I absolutely hate shipping lanes/channels at night. I'm curious why you don't lower your lazy jack lines when raising the sail. that would probably allow you to raise the main using auto pilot. loose the main sheet and let the boom naturally point in to the wind to compensate for any auto pilot deviation. Its what I'd do if I were raising the mainsail on your boat. It will keep your battens out of the lazy jack lines and put less stress on your winches and other gear.

Are you guys going to check out (or already checked out) Ikaria? I have a Greek friend that says it’s a place you can’t miss. It’s a Greek island off the coast of Turkey…. Supposedly in a blue zone.

Singapore is very ordered so finding the straight run in the same way isnt a surprise.. I know Nahoa found it tougher in poor weather so glad it stayed fair for you. Sorry the boat got dinged in transit to Turkey.

Not sure if timing was the same - hard to tell - and the distances are a far but you, the Wynns, SV Vaga, and Nandji were all in SE Asia at similar times it seems. :) What a meetup that would be eh?

I was used to the busiest shipping area in the Netherlands and Singapore isn’t that much different. The ships are just a bit larger. Luckily they all have ais. In your route up north you’ll find tons of fishing nets. Just go in the middle of the two flags, and you’ll be fine. Have a good trip. Yes you’re allowed to take over or be overtaken. Most sg Rules are not much different from colregs. Just give enough space for those larger ships, which often travel at 14+ kn

The English Channel is the busiest ocean shipping lane in the world, used by more than 500 vessels a day. The Dover Straits are just part of it. Malacca might not be as busy as the English Channel , but it is a far more dangerous place to be sailing. Some of the pilots have had very little training.
